WhatsApp, one of the most used messaging and video calling applications in the world, has implemented a new measure to increase security. With the new application offered to the user in the beta version, the feature of logging into WhatsApp with a fingerprint has been introduced.

To enable fingerprinting, you need to use the beta version of WhatsApp on your Android phone. For this too You need to click on the link or download the beta version of WhatsApp to your phone. Then you need to activate the fingerprint feature.

If you are using the beta version of WhatsApp on your phone, the fingerprint feature will be activated during automatic updating. You can find out whether your WhatsApp is up to date or not by logging into the play store.


To activate the fingerprint in the WhatsApp application, first enter the application and click on the Settings section at the top. Then enter the Account menu and from there click on the Privacy tab. Enter the Fingerprint Lock menu at the bottom of the menu that appears and activate the 'Unlock with Fingerprint' option.

Then the application will ask you to identify your fingerprint. To do this, register your fingerprint by scanning it in the application only once. Then the menu below will appear.

After you enter your fingerprint into the application, fingerprint request will be activated for your subsequent logins.

You can also choose how long after you use the app to lock it from the fingerprint menu. It is also possible to hide information such as the sender's name and the content of the message in the notification panel by turning off the show content in notifications section.
